A man in New Jersey wakes up a millionaire after matching five of six numbers on Saturday night Powerball Drawing.
New Jersey Lottery Officials did not announce where the winning ticket was sold until Sunday morning. The venue is expected to be announced on the day.
Two $1 million prize tickets were sold for the drawing, one to a person in New Jersey and the other to a person in Georgia. Both players matched five white balls but not the Powerball.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, April 27 Powerball drawing are: 9, 30, 53, 55, 62. There was a powerball number 23 With a power play 3X.
There was no winner of the $151 million jackpot with a cash value of $69 million.
The next drawing is Monday, April 29. The estimated jackpot for that drawing is $74.9 million with a cash value of $164 million.
At least two winning Powerball tickets were sold in New Jersey this month. The $50,000 winning ticket was sold at the Camden County Tele for the April 1 drawing and the $1 million winning ticket was sold on April 3.
